Blepharoplasty can rejuvenate puffy, sagging, or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin, and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It may be performed for cosmetic reasons or to improve sight by lifting droopy eyelids out of the patient’s field of vision. The procedure is usually performed in our office with local anesthesia in as little as 45 minutes. Blepharoplasty can be combined with a facelift, BOTOX®, or Xeomin treatments to raise the eyebrows and/or reduce the appearance of wrinkles, or crow’s feet.
Brow lifts can revitalize drooping or lined foreheads, helping you to look less angry, sad, or tired. The incision is either hidden in the hairline or above the eyebrow. This procedure is often done at the same time as a blepharoplasty.
In time, gravity, sun exposure, and the stresses of daily life take their toll on our faces: deep creases appear beside the mouth, the jawline slackens, and folds and fat deposits appear on the neck. Facelifts counteract these problems by removing fat and tightening skin and muscles, giving your face a fresher, youthful look. After surgery, some patients appear 10-15 years younger.
Ear surgery for children or adults can set prominent ears back closer to the head and reduce the size of large ears. Dr. Saccogna can also repair stretched or torn earlobes from ear piercings.
Rhinoplasty is often performed to reshape and reduce or remove a hump from the nose caused by injury or a birth defect. Often times, a septoplasty, if needed, is performed at the same time which makes breathing easier.
Permalip is an FDA-approved device made of solid silicone used to plump up the upper and/or lower lip. The implant cannot rupture or deflate and may be removed at any time. Permalip has a very natural appearance and is the perfect alternative to repetitive lip injections. This procedure is performed in our office under local anesthesia and only takes about 15 minutes per lip.
